Purpose:

Water leaks were detected in the curtain and deck concrete at the Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe Metro Line Finance Center Station. It has been determined that the injection waterproofing previously used for waterproofing purposes did not work and water leaks continued.

Result:

Existing cracks and segregations in the concrete were widened, and weak concrete and old polyurethane injection residues were cleaned. The opened channels were repaired by mixing repair mortar and HYDROISOL-ITH product, which produces 3rd generation crystal.

After all repairs were completed, the concrete surfaces were moistened and 2 coats of HYDROISOL-ITH were applied. In this way, the crystallized material was enabled to penetrate deep into the concrete and produce crystals in the hairline cracks.
As a result, waterproofing problems that became chronic within 1 week and could not be solved despite previous waterproofing attempts were solved with a 100% success rate.
