Yes. Hydroisol helps protect concrete from the damaging effects of repeated freezing and thawing cycles by preventing water from seeping into the concrete.

Unlike most other systems, the Hydroisol process becomes an integral part of the concrete formulation. The crystal network structure formed does not deteriorate under normal conditions, and the crystal structure formation process is reactivated in any situation where water and moisture are present.

Yes. Hydroisol helps to protect reinforcing steel from oxidation and deterioration by preventing leaching of water, salt water, wastewater and most chemicals.
​Is Hydroisol Toxic?
No. Hydroisol does not contain any volatile organic compounds and can be safely applied indoors. According to the tests and certificates obtained from accredited laboratories and health institutions, the use of Hydroisol in buildings with drinking water and food has been approved.
​What is the Difference of Hydroisol from Other Products?
The Hydroisol crystal producing system, used for waterproofing and protection of concrete, differs greatly from traditional barrier products (membranes, cement-based spread materials, etc.).

1. Hydroisol forms a crystalline network in the pores and capillaries of the concrete mass, preventing the penetration of water and aggressive chemicals. Conventional barrier products, on the other hand, only work on the surface of the concrete.

2. Hydroisol is highly resistant to hydrostatic pressure, as it is not dependent on surface adhesion to provide waterproofing.

3. Hydroisol provides safe and continuous waterproofing by closing static capillary cracks up to 0.4-0.5 mm thick.

4. Hydroisol is unaffected by the degradation problems faced by membranes.

5. Hydroisol has a self-repairing structure by being a constant keeper and re-activating whenever it encounters water.
